
Once you pick your character, you must battle your way through all the other fighters, including yourself. This time, there're twelve fighters, some new faces and some returning favorites. The MS-DOS version does its best to deliver the arcade experience to your personal computer in a satisfying way. Everything was improved: The graphics, the sound, the gameplay, and the blood were all doubled in quality. Whereas the first game felt uninspired and wooden, Mortal Kombat II was a truly solid successor. The emperor likes this plan, so he restores Shang Tsung's youth and sends him to force the Earth warriors into kombat in the Outworld! But Shang Tsung is known to be sneaky, for he convinces his master of a new plan: To lure the Earth warriors into a new Outworld tournament, where they'll meet their certain doom at the hands of Kahn and his dark minions. Liu Kang kicked his butt in the last game, and now the old sorceror faces execution at the hands of the emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn - not only for losing the tournament, but for the death of Goro as well. As with all Mugen games, this is a free game and this latest Ultimate update, created by Gui Santos, brings numerous improvements and fixes. Mortal Kombat Project Season 2.9 is by far the best MK Mugen game, and we are happy to report that a brand new version of it is available for download.
